Prayer - Next Step Ideas
We started the Grow series Wednesday night by talking about prayer and the importance of having a routine. Just like a seed doesn’t instantly produce a flower, we do not become super Christians overnight. We grow closer and closer to God. It’s part of our journey, our growth.
Here are a few ideas to take the next step with prayer.
- Pray for your friends by name by printing out your myspace and facebook friends lists
- Turn off your radio on the way to school and spend that time praying*
- Get together with some friends to just pray for each other
- Pray a Psalm everyday
- Commit to praying for the church, the youth ministry, and the leaders
- Take a walk and pray
