Hey everyone! It’s been raining pretty heavily around here and the ditch and driveway to the church is flooded. Hopefully it’ll be clear before LPY tomorrow (Wednesday, January 7) night. If not, we may have to cancel LPY.
I’ll send a text to everyone to let you know if we cancel or not, so make sure you’re subscribed to our texts. To subscribe, text “lpyouth” to 41411.
Also, I’ll update lifepointyouth.com with info tomorrow by 3pm.

New Years Lock-In
We’ll start everything at regular Wednesday night time at 6:30 on December 31 and we’ll end at 8am the next morning. Bring some video games, board games, food, and other fun stuff.

Winter Wonder Slam
Winter Wonder Slam is this Saturday (December 5), featuring Toby Mac, Family Force 5, Relient K, and B. Reith. This is going to be a great concert. If you want to go, you have to give me $25 this Wednesday night for your ticket.

Operation Christmas Child
It’s a little short notice, but we are going to be putting together some shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child tomorrow (Tuesday, November 11). This originally started out with just the girls small group, but they’ve invited everyone to help.
We will meet at the church at 11am (since you’re out of school), go get some lunch, and then go shopping for things to put into shoe boxes to give to children all around the world (you will just need money for lunch, the church will buy everything for the shoe boxes). You can see what they do with the shoe boxes at samaritanspurse.org.
